ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਵਾਲਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ

ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਸਰਬੰਸ ਦਾਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਔਰੰਗਜੇਬ ਦੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਧਰਮ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬਾਈ – ਧਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਨ 1701 ਵਿਚ ਇੱਕ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ 1 ਮਹੀਨਾ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

GURUDWARA SHRI RAWALSAR SAHIB is situated in the small town...

Rawalsar in Distt. Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI came to this place. Here he had meeting with BAI-DHAR RAJAS (22 Hill Rulers) to think over and plan a Programme for saving the Hindus and Hindu Religion from the cruelty of Muslim King Aurangzeb. GURU SAHIB stayed here for period of 1 Month.
