ਗੁਰੂਦਵਾਰਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸ਼ਦੀਮਾਰਗ ਸਾਹਿਬ – ਪੁਲਵਾਮਾ

ਗੁਰੂਦਵਾਰਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਸ਼ਦੀਮਾਰਗ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪੁਲਵਾਮਾ ਜ਼ਿਲਾ ਸ੍ਰੀਨਗਰ, ਜੰਮੂ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ. ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੌਰੇ ‘ਤੇ ਆਏ ਸਨ. ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਚਿਨਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਰੱਖਤ ਥੱਲੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਏ. ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਦਾ ਕਟੋਰਾ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ . ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸੰਤ ਭਾਈ ਕੱਟੂ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ , ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਹੈ , ਜਦੋਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਂਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਸੀ .ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਸੀ ? . ਸੰਗਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਝੁਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤੀ. ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਕਟੂ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ (ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ) ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਨਗੇ.
ਜਦੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਨ ਉਦੋਂ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਜਹਾਂਗੀਰ ਵੀ ਆਏ ਸਨ. ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਗੀ ਸਮਝ ਸੀ . ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਗਏ. ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ Hunting Badshah ਪਿਆਸ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਥਾਂ (ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ) ਨੂੰ ਬਰਛੇ ਨਾਲ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਬਾਹਰ...

ਆਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਿਆਸ ਬੁਝਾਈ .

GURUDWARA SHRI SHADIMARG SAHIB is situated near village Pulwama Distt Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI came here on his Kashmir tour. GURU SAHIB sat under Chinaar Tree. Sangat started coming to seek GURU SAHIB\”s blessings and Darshan. Sangat brought a bowl of Honey along with them to offer GURU SAHIB. Near by was sitting a saint Bhai Katu Shah, he asked for some Honey but sangat refused as it was for GURU SAHIB. When Sangat offered the honey to GURU SAHIB it was full of ants. GURU SAHIB asked sangat that had any body asked for honey on there way. Sangat bowed in front of GURU SAHIB and told him the whole story. GURU SAHIB told them to go back and offer honey to Bhai Katu Shah then he(GURU SAHIB) will accept.
While GURU SAHIB was here Badshah Jahangir also came here. He met GURU SAHIB and both had good understanding with each other. Both of them went for hunting. While Hunting Badshah was feeling thirsty. GURU SAHIB hit one place (near by GURUDWARA SAHIB) with his barcha and water started coming out and Badshah quenched his thirst there
