ਇਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਾਵਨ ਚਰਨ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਭੰਗਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਭੰਗਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਯੁੱਧ ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਏਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਥੇ ਰੁਕ ਕੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਰਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਪਿੱਪਲ ਦੇ ਦਰਖਤ ਥੱਲੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਘੋੜਾ ਬੰਨ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਰਕੱਸਾ ਖੋਲ ਕੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਰਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ। ਜਿਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਗੁ: ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਸ਼ੁਸ਼ੋਬਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਥੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਚਨ...

GURUDWARA SHRI DAMDAMA SAHIB is situated in Khizrabad, Distt Mohali. SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI came here while going to Nahan, On invitation Raja Of Nahan. Further GURU SAHIB went Paonta Sahib where he stayed there for two years. On the way back to Anandpur Sahib again GURU SAHIB came here at stayed for some time. GURU SAHIB tied his horse with Pipal Tree and rested. GURU SAHIB also gave sangat blessings.
