ਗੁਰੂਦੁਆਰਾ ਜ਼ਾਮਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ – ਬਾਜ਼ੀਦਪੁਰ

ਇਹ ਉਹ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਿਕ ਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ , ਜਿਥੇ ਸਰਬੰਸ ਦਾਨੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਚਰਨ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਗ ਲਾਏ। ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਗਵਾਹ ਹੈ ਕੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਇੱਕ ਜੱਟ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਬਾਣੀਏ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਦਸਮ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਾਮਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜੱਟ ਮਰ ਕੇ ਤਿੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਜੂਨ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਣੀਆਂ ਬਾਜ਼ ਦੀ ਜੂਨ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ। ਕਲਗੀਧਰ ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਜ਼ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਤਿੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਾਮਨੀ ਤਾਰੀ। ਇਥੇ ਉਹ ਜੰਡ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੀ ਹੈ , ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਘੋੜਾ ਬੰਨਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੱਸਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਸੰਤ ਪੰਚਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਥੇ ਬੜਾ ਭਾਰੀ ਜੋੜ ਮੇਲਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ , ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 12 ਵਜੇ...

GURUDWARA SHRI JAAMANI SAHIB, is situated in Village Bazidpur, Distt Ferozepur. It is situated on the Ferozepur-Ludhiana Road, Just 8 km from Ferozepur City. SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI came here after battle of Mukatsar Sahib. A Jatt Farmer had borrowed some money from Brahmin on the guarantee of GURU SAHIB. But he had not returned the money and had passed away. In his second life he became a tittar (Bird) and Brahmin became Baaz (Hawk Bird). When GURU SAHIB came here he got tittar bird killed from Baaz and got himself free from guarantee he had given in that case.
