ਗੁਰੂਦਵਾਰਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਥੜ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ – ਬਾਰਾਮੁਲਾ , ਜੰਮੂ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਬਾਰਾਮੂਲਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਸਿੰਘਪੁਰਾ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ. ਸ੍ਰੀਨਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਈ ਭਾਗ ਭਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਏ. ਇਕ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਸੰਤ ਬਹਿਲੋਰ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ. ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਘਾਟ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਥਾਨ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ. ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਬਰਛੇ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫੁਰਮਾਇਆ ਇਥੇ ਇਕ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਖੂਹ ਹੈ। ਜਿੰਨਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੋ। ਅੱਜ ਇਥੇ ਇਕ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਖੂਹ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਖੂਹ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਲੋਕੀ ਬੜ੍ਹੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਤੇ ਸਵੱਛਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬਾਰਾਮੁਲਾ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਗ ਲਗਾਇਆ , ਕਾਫੀ ਚਿਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਉਥੇ ਠਹਿਰੇ ਤੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਰਹੀਆਂ। ਜਦੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਇਥੋਂ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਥੇ ਥੜ੍ਹਾ...

ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਿਥੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਬੈਠਿਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ , ਤੇ ਇਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਥੜ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ

GURUDWARA SHRI THADA SAHIB PATSHAHI CHEVIN SAHIB is situated in the village Singhpura, Distt Baramulla of Jammu & Kashmir. After fulfilling the wish of Mai Bhag Bhari at Srinagar, SHRI GURU HARGOBIND SAHIB JI came here. A old Muslim Saint Bahlor Shah lived here. He served GURU SAHIB with great devotion He also requested GURU SAHIB that there was shortage of water in near by areas, as this place is situated on the hill top. GURU SAHIB touched the ground with his Barcha and told that here is well of sweet water. You people can use it as much as you want. Even today people use this water as per there requirement. From here GURU SAHIB went towards Baramulla. After GURU SAHIB’s visit people got a thada constructed where GURU SAHIB sat, hence this place was named as Thada Sahib.

    This gurdwara is surrounded by Muslim brothers and is 1.6 km far away from the Singhpora village. The place where Thra sahib is situated is Kalampora. The Gurdwara is built up the Bhai Harbans singh ji Delhi wale with the sipport of Sikh Sangats reaiding nearby… It has a beautiful langar hall, resting village for traveller’s etc. The current head Granthi is Bhai Sahib Bhai Deedar singh ji who is from the Poonch sector of jammu Division. .. People from far flung areas came here to fulfill their deeds…..
